Regular Maintenance Tips for Robotic Vacuum Cleaner

This article covers the most important maintenance tips for taking care of your robotic vacuum, so that it will last for years.

Most robotic vacuums have sensors located in the front and in the back. These are the eyes that detect obstacles.

If your robot vacuum gets stuck someplace, such as under the couch, make sure that you do not pull on it directly as this can cause damage to the sensors. Lift the couch and slowly help it re-track its way out.

You can clean the sensor eyes (glass or clear plastic cover) with a soft rag and warm, soapy water. Don’t use glass cleaners, bleach or detergent as it may damage the lens.

Most other manufacturers state that you should never use water to clean the filter but use a specified tool to clean the filter.  Hence, the filter part always be the reservoir for illness-causing germs.

But not for Coredy Robot, Coredy's upgraded filters are made of special HEPA material that can be washed, and most importantly, Coredy's filters can capture the tiniest dust and allergy, it will benefit the one who suffer from asthma, allergies or own pets in house.

When wheels get grimy, they won't turn as well. To keep them spinning, at least once a week make sure there aren't any threads or hairs wrapped around the axles. If there are, use a utility knife to cut the debris free.

Next, check to see if there is anything stuck to the wheels themselves. If so, wipe them down with a damp cloth. Clean wheels get better traction and prevent extra strain on the motor.
